A farewell service has been announced for the late Jayne Buckman-Owoo.
The award-winning journalist and actress passed away due to a short undisclosed illness on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was 49.
A mass was held for Ms Buckman-Owoo on Friday, August 25.
For the farwell service, published today, November 2, by graphiconline.com, at 7:30 AM, there will be a filing past of Ms Buckman-Owoo’s remains at the St Theresa Parish.
Following, at the same venue, will be her funeral mass at 8:30 AM. Thereafter, there shall be a mass held with a private burial.
Finally, the Saturday, Nov 4 rite will end with a gathering at the St Theresa School at North Kaneshie.
The next day, a thanksgiving service will be held at the St Theresa Parish at 9:30 AM, open to family and friends, as gratitude is expressed for fond memories and the storied legacy of the A Call At Midnight star, Ms Jayne Buckman-Owoo.
At the 2021 Golden Age Creative Arts Awards (GACAA), Jayne was honoured with a citation presented by radio notable Abeiku Santana.
For more than two decades, she served the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) as a staff writer for Graphic Showbiz.
