Ghana Gas CEO: Nuhu Nkrummah Dauda gets massive support

Must Read

Nuhu Nkrummah Dauda, known for his exploits and career growth, has been tipped as one of the young loyalists of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region to occupy the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC)

Whereas many traditional rulers in the Region have tipped him and subsequently recommended him for the position and consequently petitioned President John Dramani Mahama and the leadership of NDC at head office to consider him for the position based on his contributions to national development and career growth, among others, some have penciled him in for the position of CEO at Sankofa Mines in the Region.

The chartered Accountant has had an enviable career progression and has worked with reputable organizations over the years.
As an indigene of the Region, gladly yearning to serve his country with humility, many, including influential Chiefs in the Region, have tipped him to catch the eyes and attention of the President due to his experience and expertise, required to shoulder the aforementioned organizations.

A recommendation letter cited by this online portal shows seven paramount Chiefs from the Region all endorsing Nuhu Nkrummah Dauda.

They are Awulae Amihere Kpanyili (III) Omanhene of Eastern Nzema Traditional Area
Awulae Attibrukusu (III), Omanhene of Lower Axim traditional area, Awulae Agyefi Kwame (II) Omanhene of Nsein traditional area, Awulae Angama Tu-agyan (II) Omanhene of Gwira Traditional Area, Awulae Annor Adjaye (III) Omanhene of Western Nzema traditional area,
Nana Nyamekye (III) Ag. President, Ajomoro Traditional Area, Nana Edusei (II), Acting President, Upper Axim Traditional Area

The young auditor, who is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Governance Africa (CIGA) appears to have prepared adequately for the position following the acquisition of the required academic credentials.

Queen mother of the Upper Axim Traditional area, Obahemaa Erzah Ngrumah, backed by influential figures together confirmed the endorsement of the young professional by the traditional rulers.

Although many others have shown interest in the two positions mentioned above, many of the traditional rulers and opinion leaders in the NDC, believe, Nuhu Nkrummah Dauda more than deserve the opportunity to serve the country in his capacity as head of the aforementioned establishments.

“He is very dynamic and will support the vision of the President in managing Ghana National Gas Company properly. He has all the academic credentials and worthy experience sufficient to deliver results ” one of the chiefs name withheld said.
One of the opinion leaders in the Region assertively described the youthful and hardworking Accountant as an admirable professional with impressive working experience and expertise.

“For me, I believe he will serve the interest of the government better once he is positioned at Sankofa Mines. The mining company needs an experienced hand to grow and its fortunes expanded and this man can do it and do it better”
Continuing, he added “Many people are vying for various positions, but I believe Nuhu Nkrummah Dauda stands tall and will perform beyond the expectations of the President. Everything should be about results and he can offer the government the results required ”
Not even one person from the Western Region has secured any top position in the government except for two ministerial appointments offered by Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah and Emilia Arthur.

Nonetheless, lobbying has intensified for various positions in government since President John Dramani Mahama assumed office this year in January 2025.

The clamour for the positions follows the massive victory chalked by the NDC in the December 2024 general elections which ushered President John Dramani Mahama into office as President of the Republic.
