Hearts of Oak Midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has returned to fitness after undergoing surgery last year in South Africa.
Nurudeen, missed 2022/2023 season after contracting thigh injury, hence flown to South Africa for a successful correction has resumed training ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Nurudeen, thanked the club’s handlers for making sure he returned to full fitness and supporters for their unwavering prayers towards his threatened career and revival.
“Very very grateful because billions was spent to see me through this surgery. The cost of my ticket, accommodation, good hospitality, and caretaker were all borne by the club. We are talking about billions so why won’t I be grateful. I will, and everywhere, I will say it confidently. So, I am very grateful for what they did for me”, he stated.
He again called for patience of supporters to put last season’s 12th placed performance behind them as the team looks forward to chalking success this season.
“Hearts of Oak supporters should put the past behind them. This season we will give them something bigger and better”.
