Akan NPP PC lobby electricity for “NO LIGHT, NO VOTE” community

Mr Tassah Tapha Tassah, the Akan New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate has acted swiftly to the notice of Dodi- Konsuaso community’s “NO LIGHT, NO VOTE” and lobbied for expedited electricity connection to the community.

Dodi-Konsuaso, a farming community located along the Kadjebi-Nkwanta Highway, has been without electricity, prompting the people to voice out their displeasure through the warning.

Mr Tassah, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Kadjebi, in the Oti Region, said “The people had been crying for electricity for a long time, so we took it upon ourselves and contacted the Ministry of Energy, who awarded the contract through Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) for the community to be connected to the National grid”.

Mr Tassah, who personally led the ECG Officials to the community for the mapping out, said it was a policy of the government to ensure that every community was connected to the National Grid.

He assured the rest of the communities that were yet to be connected to the national electricity grid to exercise patience for their turn.
