Cameroonian goalie, Andre Onana, has completed a switch to EPL giant Manchester United for £50 Million on a contract running until June 2028, with the option of a further year, subject to international clearance.
The Ex-Inter Milan and Ajax, goal keeper was versatile and key for the Italian side who lost the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City in Istanbul last month.
Andre Onana completed more short passes (84/84) with 100% accuracy in the Champions League last season than any other player in the competition
The Cameroonian goalkeeper maintains his iconic No. 24 jersey and was pictured holding it for the very first time alongside his agents Albert Botines and Jordi Pascual.
Onana told Gazzetta after sealing the move, “I want and I hope to win the Champions League at Manchester United”.
“I really want to start this new exciting experience, with a coach who is a master for me”.
“Man United has a long history of incredible goalkeepers, and I will now give everything to create my own legacy in the coming years.”
