Popular waakye seller Auntie Muni has passed away.
Auntie Muni passed away on Wednesday 3 January at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra after a short illness.
Auntie Muni’s final resting place will be in Tamale today, in accordance with Muslim customs.
Auntie Muni’s renowned waakye joint, situated in Labone, Accra, has been a cherished culinary haven for locals and visitors alike.
