Two students of the Gomoa Buduatta DA Junior High School were denied access to write the first paper of the Basic Education Certificate Examination yesterday.
This was after the headmaster of the school refused to pay some monies collected from the students as exam registration fee to authorities thus preventing them from writing the ongoing examination since they were not furnished with index numbers.
Angry parents who beseiged the premises of the school vowed to attack the headmaster of the school who was not present at the time.
The two students who were denied access to write the exams shed tears as the exems went on.
“When they were about to write the exams they went to check out for their index numbers. Some of the students said they did not find their index numbers. My child is at home because she couldn’t register as a result of the headmaster failure to register her”an angry parent said.
