Campaigneronline CEO Attacked; Car Stolen

A prominent Ghanaian journalist and businessman was attacked and suffered serious injuries after several gun and machete wielding forced their way into his Tuba residence.

The Journalist, Elvis Asiedu Antwi who is currently the Managing Editor of www.campaigneronline.com, was at home when he was attacked.

His attackers, according to information stormed the house in the early hours of yesterday, August 21, 2023 at about 4:30 am, and demand from him his car key, mobile phone and other valuables after which they tie him up.

His legs and arms were tied to his neck making him uncomfortable and unable to move.

The assailants after collecting the car keys and mobile phone inflicted some cutlass wounds on him and left with the stolen items including Honda CR-V with registration number GW 3358-18.
The matter has since been reported to the police and investigations are underway.

Meanwhile, in an interview Elvis Asiedu Antwi popularly called General, said he suspected an attempt on his life and not robbery.

He also suspected that the incident was staged to look as if it was a robbery attack when it was obvious that the people were after his life.

According to the police, investigations have been launched into the incident and the perpetrators would soon be apprehended and brought to justice.
