DISCIPLINE IN DEVELOPMENT, THE ACT OF SHOWDOWNISM

Must Read

The injection of Discipline into the development of our dear country Ghana is the act of ‘SHOWDOWNISM’. In the Science of God, the Fear of God is as important of God Himself, which symbolizes Discipline. Proverbs 9:10 says:

_”The fear of the God is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”._

The starter of development begins with the exertion of self or corporate discipline to invent or create. The reason why Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s campaign is surrounded with Imans, Sheiks, Pastors, Priests, Prophets and Kings is because he’s a disciple of truth, discipline and honesty. Come what may, with these moral qualities and his hallmark in discipline, he has the selection and the mandate of God’s appointment to rule this country.

I do not concord with the proponents of the fallacy that Ghana can never progress. In fact, such people are discipline-deficient; hence, making such postulations. Roses Homemaker’s definition of discipline perfectly defines them.

_”Discipline is the strongest form of self love”._

Truly, they that love themselves and their country will discipline their thinking by having a positive perspective of their nation and that is revealed in Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong. That I believe will whip up the fear of God in all of our endeavors and every day’s work and lifestyle to bring changes for progress and success in nation’s development and planning for business.
Unquestionably, the only problem in Ghana is the absence of discipline which can be drastically dealt with with the right kind of leadership Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong will bring. Therefore, Ghana’s problem is the shade of a leader who, when it comes to managing people and property, is self-disciplined and is able, without fear or favour, to inject same into the system.

Without controversy, it is the lack of discipline in the system that culminates in corruption: perpetual lateness to work, bribery, pilfering, embezzlement, kickbacks, shady contracts, shoddy contractual projects, lack of social auditing, illegal mining, Illigal electricity connection, lack of law-enforcement, libelling, slandering, bidding the master’s will in the judiciary, in the armed forces, in the police service, etc. Those and many more are acts of stark indiscipline that are dangerously weighing down Ghana into the doldrums of economic abyss. And as a nation, we seem to have inured ourselves to such a cancerous way of living because our friends and families who in some way support us, have built mansions and own fatty bank accounts out such nation-wrecker activities.

This is the worst of indiscipline ever experienced in this current government which has zipped the mouths of prominent religious leaders, chiefs and the media in general. They look on speechless while Ghana helplessly weeps in the face of recklessly managed governance. The act of indiscipline at its highest degree is when you see ill being done and you refuse to speak against it. Stephen Covey best describes such people in the following words:

_”The indiscipline are slaves to moods, appetites and passions “._

Truly, their actions of remaining silent is not based on sound reasoning. It all about partisan Politics and _noko fioo._

Who on earth can stop this nonsense? It is only the no-nonsense person who can do that. Just as it takes venom from a snake to cure a snake bite. l see no other person with the antidote to corruption, the fruit of indiscipline, save Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong. With his no-nonsense leadership, Ghana will surely see the light again. Like Jose Edoardo dos Santos says:

_”There is no magic wand that can solve our problems. The solution rests with our work and discipline.”_

Work and discipline is what Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong strongly believes in. No any other presidential candidate has that in their campaign messages. That indicates that they are just going to add to the numbers and follow the status quo of building up rots in the system.

l cannot conclude without quoting these two great writers: Jim Rohn and Plato on discipline.

_”Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.”__ ..JR.

_”What lies in our power to do, lies in our power not to do”._ .. Plato.”_

Ghana’s goal of becoming a prosperous nation will not be materialised without DISCIPLINE as the bridge. Fortunately, for Ghana, Hon Ohene Kennedy Agyepong carries on his shoulder that bridge of discipline. He is, indeed, the Showdown Man.
