Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital welcomes three new babies on New Year’s Day

Must Read

The Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital in the Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono Region on New Year’s Day welcomed three new babies, all males.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, Ms Francisca Pomaa, Senior Staff Midwife at the Labour Ward, said the three babies were delivered through spontaneous vaginal delivery and in good health with their mothers, waiting to be discharged.

She said two of them were delivered at 0043 hours and 0959 hours while the last was at 1526 hours.

Ms Pomaa said all three mothers attended ante-natal clinics regularly, which could explain why they had no health concerns.

She said unlike previous years, none of the new babies received any gift from any member of the public nor organisations, including churches.
