Mr Emmanuel Kisseih Apodeih has been retained as Assemblyman for the Abafum Kowe Abese Electoral Area within in the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly.
He polled 1,131 votes out of 1,689 total votes cast
His two competitors, Mr Benjamin Tetteh Amoo and Mr George Nii Badu Sowah polled 492 and 66 votes respectively.
Mr Apodeih thanked his supporters for the show of love.
He explained that being down-to-earth and responsive to the needs of the people were his secrets to winning their hearts and promised to continue same and lobby for developmental projects.
Supporters of Mr Apodeih’s welcomed the declaration of results with wild cheers and jubilation.
They exited the collation centre with singing, dancing and pouring of powder both on themselves and their victorious candidate.
