The activities of landguards in recent times in the Fetteh Kakraba enclave has risen to a crescendo with land being the hardest hit.

Land owners lament how these landguards terrorize them on daily basis putting their lives and their properties in danger.

“The activities of landguards is gradually pushing us-away from our properties. It it sometime scary to see how these landguards operate. The come in groups and terrorize us when we are working on our land. They demand monies and in some instances land documents” Asare an angry resident said.

The Chief of Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba Nana Essel Amanquadoh is accusing Gomoa Fetteh of using landguards to terrorize residents of the area.

According to him the Gomoa Fetteh stool cannot lay claimancy to any land in Gomoa Fetter Kakraba hence will not give in to the damands of the Fetteh people.

“Gomoa Fetteh cannot lay claim to any land in Fetteh Kakraba. We won’t allow that to happen. We are not under them. But they are using landguards to terrorize innocent land owners who are developing their land and this is not good. The Police must intervene” Nana Essel Amanquadoh said.

The Gomoa Fetteh Traditional Council at another press conference indicated that the Fetteh Kakraba land is a stool land and not a family land as it’s being claimed by Fetteh Kakraba Chief.

Nana Abor Attah, the chief of Gomoa Fetteh indicated his resolve to eject the people occupying Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba lands since it’s a stool land.
