Must Read

A Deputy Coordinator for the Free Senior High School Secretariat, Miss Afra Sika Mensah, has appealed to the privileged in society to consider supporting the needy in society.
According to her, such a gesture would go a long way to change the fortunes of such people who did not opt to be less privileged in society, adding that such a gesture would attract God’s abundant blessing.
Miss Afra Sika made the appeal through the media after visiting and making a personal donation to the Osu Children’s Home over the weekend as part of activities marking her birthday.
Items presented to the home were assorted exercise books, drinks, bags of rice and biscuits among others in addition to an undisclosed amount of cash.
She lauded the staff of the Osu Children’s Home for the dedication and support they have been offering the inmates of the home.
The Deputy Coordinator pledged to continue supporting the home so the children would enjoy a good life.
Miss Afra Sika used the occasion to appeal to Corporate Organizations, Private institutions and other philanthropists to make it a point to complement the effort of government towards the welfare of inmates of such homes.
She reminded the inmates to appreciate the support being offered them by their caregivers and pray for them so they would be able to work very hard towards their upkeep.
