Gomoa Fetteh Chiefs Fight Church Of Pentecost For Disrespecting The Stool

Nananom of Gomoa are angry with the leaders of the church of Pentecost and Management of Pentecost Convention Center for failing to recognize them in any of their events. 

Chief of Gomoa Fetteh Nana Abor Atta (II) has threatened to take legal action against the church of Pentecost if it continues to show disrespect to the stool.

Addressing a press conference, Nana Abor Atta says Pentecost Convention Centre dwells on Fetteh Land, but the authorities of the church of Pentecost have neglected the traditional rulers over years in any of their programs.

Nana said, recently the church of Pentecost organized National Development conference but the church failed to recognize them but invited chiefs from other towns to grace the programs, which is a total disrespect to them.

Nana Abor Atta revealed that several letters have been written to the management of the church, but the church have failed to address their challenges.

Nana said the church has also failed to do cooperate social responsibility for the Gomoa Fetteh community.

He said that management of the church always invites chiefs from other part of the country to grace their programs, but the church failed to recognize the land owners.

He emphasized that, although Pentecost church acquired their land from 21st century Estate but Nananom are the custodian owners of the area and needs to be recognized in every event the church organizes, hence the call.

Nananom Abori Atta II has given the authorities of the church of Pentecost Apostle Eric Nyamekye two weeks ultimatum to appear before Nananom or face their wrath.
