Brentford Forward, Ivan Toney has been banned by the English FA for eight month following his addiction to betting.
Toney, has been found guilty for breaching the FA rules and regulations by betting 16 games against his own team to win 15 different games and 13 times on his own team to lose in 7 different matches which he did not play.
He has therefore been diagnosed with a gambling addiction and suffers from eight months game ban.
The ban hence hampers his selection to the England squad against Malta and North Macedonia in next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers.
