American based Ghanaian teenage boxer, Joseph Awinongya Jnr, has maintained his junior Olympic belt he won last year.

Awinongya Jnr, defeated Noel Bastiste in the finals with all five judges in complete agreement and scored 10 – 9 in all three rounds for Joseph Awinongya Jnr.

Joseph Awinongya Jnr, displayed great confidence and sweet boxing artistry at the finals of the 154lbs Junior division at this year’s Junior olympics.

Awinongya Jr. ruled 154lbs Junior division at the 2023 Junior Olympics in Lubbock defending his belt he won in 2022 respectively.
