There was a near-scuffle between Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and Ngleshie Amonfro MP Sylvester Tetteh on the floor of parliament on Tuesday, 13 February 2024 as the house was in session.
The two New Patriotic Party MPs were seen exchanging words in anger.
Mr Tetteh had to be quickly led out of the house by fellow MP Alexander Afenyo-Markin to avert an escalation of the incident.
All that while, Mr Agyapong kept approaching him in a menacing mood while making offensive hand gestures.
A short video of the incident captured Mr Agyapong returning to his seat while still talking in a foul mood.
It is not clear what sparked the heat between the two MPs.
But following the incident, another NPP MP drew closer to failed flagbearer of the governing party to hear his grievance.
