Ken Agyapong weeps over his unfair treatments against John Mahama

Must Read

Flagbearer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Kennedy Agyapong, has publicly apologised to former President John Dramani Mahama, who is also the flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 general elections.

Mr Agyapong acknowledged that he had been harsh in his words and actions towards Mahama and expressed regret for his behaviour.

Mr Agyapong referred to Mahama as a “wonderful gentleman” and admitted that he had not treated him fairly in the past.

He further explained that upon reflection, he realised he had been unjust and wanted to extend an unreserved apology to Mahama.

Agyapong’s public apology demonstrates a willingness to mend fences and promote more civil discourse in the political arena, acknowledging that individuals can make mistakes and should be open to reconciliation and understanding.

Mr Ken Agyapong issued this apology in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM’s chat show hosted by Bola Ray on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
