Let Us Celebrate Our Independence With Pride, Gratitude, And Hope – Dr Abu Zein

Dr. Abu Zein and the Jamila Trust for International Development has joined the Government and People of Ghana to commemorate our 68th National Independence day celebration of freedom from colonial rule, marking the beginning of a new era of self-determination and nation-building.

 

As the Chair of the Jamila Trust for International Development, we salute the people of Ghana in celebrating this remarkable milestones that honours the vision, courage, and perseverance of Ghana’s founding fathers, who paved the way for independence and self-determination, Mr. Zein has noted.

 

Ambassador Dr. Abu Zein has said, today’s celebration marks the significance of Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and resilience, and further acknowledges the country’s progress in promoting peace, stability, and economic growth. Dr. Zein has therefore commended the government and people of Ghana for their efforts in advancing education, healthcare, women empowerment, youth development and economic opportunities for all.

 

According to Dr. Zein, Ghana continues on its journey towards prosperity and growth, and for this reason he joins the Jamila Trust for International Development to offer a heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a brighter future; calling on Ghanaians to celebrate the independence with pride, gratitude, and hope. It is time to honour our past, cherish our present, and build a brighter future for unborn generations and ourselves, he added.

 

Dr. Abu Zein has also called on fellow Africans to reaffirm their commitment to African unity and cooperation since he believes in the strength and potential of the continent and has therefore asked Africans to continue to work together to achieve our shared goals.

 

Ambassador Dr. Zein said the Jamila Trust for International Development is committed to supporting Ghana’s sustainable development goals, in the areas of education, women empowerment, community and infrastructural development. He has therefore wished all Ghanaians a happy 68th Independence Day celebration. May God bless Ghana and its people! Long live Ghana! Long live Africa!
