The President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, is scheduled to visit Bawku today to engage with the Yagbonwura and other key stakeholders in an effort to find lasting solutions to the ongoing conflict between the Pusasis and the Mamprusi.
The conflict, which has become a perennial issue, was reignited in November 2024, leading to heightened tensions in the area.
President Mahama’s visit is expected to focus on fostering dialogue and promoting peace among the feuding groups.
