Minority supports disciplinary action against MP who insulted Zanetor Rawlings

Samuel Abu Jinapor, Member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency, has stated that the Minority caucus will ensure disciplinary action is taken against the MP who allegedly referred to Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, MP for Korle Klottey and daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings, as the “daughter of a murderer.”

Initially, Jinapor was accused of making the derogatory remark but publicly denied the allegation. Speaking on Newsfile this morning, he reaffirmed his stance:

“I have great respect for Zanetor Rawlings and would never make such a comment,” he stated.

He further assured that the Minority will fully support any efforts to identify the individual responsible and ensure they face appropriate consequences.

“The minority will support any disciplinary action against the MP who did that,” he assured
