Mr Bright Asamoah Brefo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Bibiani-Anwhiaso-Bekwai in the Western North Region, has inspected the progress of work on the bridge linking Attakrom, Dansoman and Hiampenika communities.
The bridge had been in a deplorable state for some time now, making commuting within those areas difficult.
However, the NDC parliamentary candidate took steps to fund its repair works to bring relief to commuters on that stretch.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview after the inspection, Mr Brefo noted that the work would also help to address the perennial flooding issues there and urged the contractor to do a good job within the stipulated time.
He gave the assurance that he would do everything in his capacity to resolve some of the challenges in the constituency to improve upon the living standards of the people.
