Nii Kwashie Gborlor, Chieftaincy Director Defies Court Order @ Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council

Must Read

Some members of the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council in the Ga state led by the Nii Kwashie Gborlor IV Amanfro Mantse, with assistance from Mr. Minka, director of Chieftaincy at the Chieftaincy Ministry, have defied a court order and pushed ahead with a meeting to discuss happenings within the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council whereas as the Acting President, Nii Armaah Kwafo II has duly served the registrar with an Interlocutory Injunction from the High Court against the said meeting.
A High court in Accra issued an order for interlocutory injunction secured by the Acting President of the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Council, Nii Armaah Kwafo II restraining the members of the traditional council from organizing the meeting.
Minutes of the said meeting intercepted by the Meridian Newspaper indicated that the Registrar called to inform those bent on having the meeting to the effect that they have been served with an interlocutory injunction which forbids them from going ahead with the meeting.
But Nii Kwashie Gborlor IV insisted that whether there is an injunction or not the meeting will come on, he added that there are enough members present so they can carry on with the meeting. He further blamed the registrar for not liaising with them in terms of letters and communication. Adding that the registrar is insanity to the traditional council. Nii Kwashie Gborlor further threatened to march naked to the chieftaincy ministry to register their dislike to the registrar for her to be changed.
Discerning minds are calling for the swift administration of the law against Nii Kwashie Gborlor and all those who disrespected the orders of the court to face the law so as to serve as a deterrent for others as we strive to build Mother Ghana.
