Celebrated Highlife Musician and Politician Rex Omar born REX OWUSU MARFO in the Ashanti Region; Ashtown-Krofrom and Suame to be precise has advised his people in the Akan states to list completed projects under the NPP government before thinking about voting to retain them in office. He argued that if they’re unable to list a satisfactory number of completed projects visible to them in their own regions then the NPP is not worth their votes.
It will be a great disservice and self-inflicted developmental retrogression to retain a government that is overseeing under-development in your region. He reminded them (AKANS) of the derogatory statement made by the incumbent Minister of Energy, Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh under this current NPP government saying “as for the Ashantis, just give them T-shirts and you’re done, they will still vote for the NPP.” Rex Omar being an Akan, born and bred in Kumasi finds this statement distasteful hence his plea to fellow Akans to vote out the NPP for lack of development in their regions. This will teach the NPP that Ashantis and Akans at large do not vote for T-shirts but for development.

With all these projects for the Ashanti Region alone, we can all agree with the Legendary Musician and Politician, Rex Omar, and reiterate that Akans in the 2024 general election should vote for JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA for Developmental Projects and not Bawumia for Toilets and T-shirts.
