The Minister of Finance-designate, Hon. Dr. Casel Ato Forson, has announced plans to reintroduce road tolls under the Mahama-led administration.
Speaking during his vetting before the parliamentary committee, Dr. Forson noted that the previous government had initially scrapped road tolls but later reversed the decision. However, the implementation of the reversal did not materialize.
He assured the committee that the current administration will ensure the restoration of road tolls, as earlier emphasized by the former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu.
