Actor Adjetey Anang is setting the record straight regarding his previous statements about cheating on his wife. In a recent interview, he clarified that the term “cheating” encompasses more than just sexual intercourse, contrary to popular assumptions.
According to Anang, “When it’s cheating, we conclude that there were sexual affairs but the good book (Bible) tells us that, when a woman walks and you look at them lustfully, in your mind, you have sinned, that’s cheating. There is emotional, there’s mental and physical as well.” He emphasized that limiting cheating to sexual affairs alone deviates from the teachings of the Bible.
Anang further explained, “So in my bid to explain, that covers a whole spectrum, if ‘I hug you for example’ and in my mind I am thinking lustfully of you, that’s cheating. You can’t limit it, otherwise, we get away with some things.”
His clarification comes in response to revelations made in his new book, ‘Adjetey Anang: A Story of Faith, Imperfection, and Resilience,’ where he confessed to emotionally and physically cheating on his wife. The book highlights his personal growth and experiences, including instances where he initiated flirtatious conversations that later escalated.
