An unidentified woman believed to be in her 40s, has been found dead in a river at Sepaase-Hiaw Besease, in the Atwima Mponua District, in the Ashanti region.
Her body was found early this morning, Saturday, 3rd June, 2023.
Reports say the body of the deceased was discovered by passersby, who traced the source of a horid stench to the river.
The deceased, from the way she was dressed, appeared to be a trader, but who she is or where she came from is not yet known by the residents of the area.
Meanwhile, the Police have deposited the body of the deceased at the Nkawie Government Hospital Mortuary, awaiting further investigation.
